The crises rocking the NDDC is not ending anytime soon, as sacked Acting MD of the commission, Joy Nunieh has revealed that she once slapped the Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Godswill Akpabio for allegedly sexually harassing her.
Nunieh who recently accused Akpabio of sacking her because she refused to endorse his fraudulent activities, made this known during an interview on Arise TV, Today. She said the incident happened at Akpabio’s guest house in Apo.
“I slapped him. He tried to come on me. I am an Ogoni woman and nobody jokes with us. I showed Akpabio that Rivers women do not tolerate nonsense,” she asserted.
Nunieh wondered why Akpabio did not tell Nigerians that he was slapped by her, noting that she is the only woman that slapped the Minister of Niger Delta Affairs.
There have been accusations and counter-accusations by the sacked MD, Nunieh and Godswill Akpabio over alleged fraudulent activities, following the forensic audit ordered by President Muhammadu Buhari.
