There are reports that some Rivers students in Jos, Plateau State, are calling on the Rivers State Government to help evacuate them, following escalation of killings in the state.
Some of the students made the call on their social media handles on Thursday.
They said following daily killings perpetrated by bandits and terrorists, they are no longer safe in the state, as it has also affected their studies.
Unknown gunmen reportedly invaded and attacked Yelwan Zangam community, killing about 35 people.
Sources say the assailants shot sporadically, killing fleeing residents and burning some others inside their homes.
