The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has commenced the Nationwide Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) exercise, beginning with an online pre-registration phase.
The commission, in a statement on Monday, announced that eligible Nigerians can now complete their registration via its official portal, www.cvr.inecnigeria.org, ahead of the in-person registration scheduled to commence on August 25, 2025.
According to INEC, the physical registration will take place across all its offices in the 36 states of the federation, the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), as well as in the 774 local government areas nationwide.
