The Nigeria Police Force has announced that members of the disbanded Special Anti-Robbery Squad are not eligible to join the newly formed Special Weapons and Tactics Team (SWAT).
The Inspector General of Police disclosed this in a memo sent to various divisions of the force informing them about the newly formed squad and the necessary criteria for recruitment.
