The Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike has charged the people of Ekpeye in Ahaoda Local Government Area to use their charms to fight those determined to stop the construction work in the area.
Wike said this during the flag off ceremony for the construction of major projects in the LGA on Wednesday.
He said instead of putting their deities on the road about to be constructed for compensation, people should use it to kill criminals in the area, who do not want the LGA to develope.
Wike stated that those involved in such acts, are simply wasting their time, as nobody will get a dime as compensation.
“They say Ekpeye people do juju, make una send the juju to go kill the bad boys wey no want Ahoada to develop. If you go and put the juju on the road we are dualising to get compensation, you are wasting your time,” he said.
“If I catch that your juju, I go put am for air conditioned room, make cold kill am there. Use your juju to fight those who want to stop the construction work,” the Governor added.
