The Port Harcourt City Local Government Council, will Today, hold the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of the Port Harcourt City International Education Centre.
Chairman of Port Harcourt City Local Government Area, Hon. Ichemati Ezebunwo in a statement said the Education Centre is an attempt by his administration to resuscitate the dwindling study culture in the society.
He said, “Tomorrow, we will be holding the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of the Port Harcourt City International Education Centre.
This particular project is one that was conceived with the intention of it being a safe house, the forte for every sound mind in our city that desires a convenient environment of international standards for the pursuit of personal learning and study.
The Port Harcourt International Education Centre is our attempt to resuscitate the dwindling study culture in our society by having a state-of-the-art facility that you readers and knowledge seekers would be proud to call their own.
The Centre upon completion will house a well-functioning Book Library, a 200-capacity ICT Library, a reading club, a conference room, a cafeteria, a creative space, and a lounge.
It is our desire to make the facility a center of attraction to all knowledge seekers the world over so much that scholars, researchers, academics, and knowledge enthusiasts who visit this part of the world will find in this facility the perfect ecosystem to thrive.
