Former Commissioner for Transportation in Rivers State, Ibinabo West who recently decamped to the All Progressives Congress, APC has debunked claims by Governor Nyesom Wike that he siphoned millions of naira when he held sway as commissioner in his cabinet.
Governor Wike had made the claims in a TV interview today, accusing Mr. West of siphoning millions of tax-payers money.
Mr West in a swift reaction immediately after the claims by the governor denied the allegations and issued a 24hr ultimatum to him, to back his claims with facts or face legal action.
He said Wike must provide the accounts he allegedly used in siphoning the funds or face lawsuit on blackmail and defamation.
