VARSITY REDEDICATED TO GOD
As part of activities to usher in the new academic session for the year 2023, and to commit the University anew to God, a rededication service was held on Wednesday January 31, 2023 at the Auditorium.
In his speech, the Vice Chancellor of Ignatius Ajuru University of Education IAUE, Professor Okechuku Onuchuku expressed gratitude to God for the grace and mercy stating that no meaningful achievement can be recorded if one does not put God first in all things.
He emphasized that Management would continue to rededicate the University to the source of all power for lasting success adding that success without God can not last or lead to anywhere.
Professor Onuchuku expressed appreciation to the Clergymen, organizers of the programme, staff and students for gracing the occasion and said that the move is the best way to start the new academic session.
In his sermon Reverend Chukwuemeka Oji reaffirmed that one with God is majority. He thanked the Vice Chancellor of IAUE Professor Okechuku Onuchuku for the service and prayed for blessings upon his life.
The Clergyman noted that the University, Management, staff and students will continue to enjoy peace, love and grace because the hand of God is upon the varsity.
Prayers were offered for the University Management, staff, students, community, Departmental/Unit Heads.
Over a thousand students gave their lives during the altar call.
