Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike has said that he will be present on Monday, May 29 2003 to formally handover power to the new administration.
Wike, made this known during the flag off of the construction of a new Federal High Court building on the newly acquired land belonging to the Nigerian Railways Corporation.
According to him, the state government acquired the land under its Public Policy because the NRC refused to maintain structures on it.
The governor also declared that the adjacent building, owned by NRC which has just been recently painted, instead of being rebuilt, will be taken over.
He maintained that he will not runaway but, will be present to usher in the new administration of Siminialayi Fubara, adding that he will leave for his village after the ceremony.
