Social Democratic Party gubernatorial candidate in Rivers State, Magnus Ngei Abe says the People’s Democratic Party is behind attacks, thuggery and lawlessness in the state.
Abe, disclosed this during an interview with BBC News Pidgin in Port Harcourt few days ago.
He said the PDP is doing everything possible to stop other political parties from campaigning in the state, adding that he has no problem with the Executive Order 21 but, disruption of political rallies by heavily armed gunmen.
He stated that the PDP is wasting time with its legal suit against the SDP, as they will win next year’s general election in the state.
The former federal lawmaker also disclosed that his party will defeat the PDP in court, and also defeat them at the poll and election tribunal.
He revealed that come May 29 2023 he will be sworn-in as the Executive Governor of Rivers State, as people of the state have seen that he is the best man for the job.
He described SDP as the fastest growing political party in the state, and that people are joining them on a daily basis.
He called on politicians to shun violence and allow Rivers people choose who will govern them next year.
