Governorship candidate of the All Progresssives Congress in Rivers State, Tonye Cole says he wants to bring a people-centeic government to the state.
Cole in a statement Today, said they visited all the local government areas in the state to convince Rivers people of his passion for their well-being.
He also said the party’s confidence in victory is made firm not by gimmicks, violence or bullying, as they rely on nothing else other than God who guides and empowers them, and the people who ground and support them.
His statement reads,
From day one, APC Rivers State has had a clear and unified message – We want to bring a people-centric government to Rivers State.
To convince the people of our passion for their well-being, we visited every LGA in Rivers State, a journey no other aspirant ventured on.
We met with the people, had face-to-face discussions with them, heard and saw their pains, and we made a promise to them – They will not be forgotten.
Our confidence in victory is made firm not by gimmicks, violence or bullying, we rely on nothing else other than God who guides and empowers us, and the people who ground and support us.
