A retired civil servant from Gokana Local Government Area of Rivers State, Rowland Monokpo whose daughters, Maryann and Scholatica were allegedly abducted from his farmland twelve years ago says he wants them back dead or alive.
Monokpo in a statement few days ago, said things have not remained the same for him, since the incident 12 years ago.
He stated that the abductors were demanding for one million naira to release them but he was able to raise only two hundred thousand naira.
He said after sending what he raised, the abductors are yet to release them.
The civil servant, also said the matter was reported to the Police but nothing was done to rescue the girls.
He pleaded with the Rivers State Police Command to reopen investigation into the matter and ensure they bring his daughters back to him under any circumstance.
