Chairman of the Rivers State Civil Society Organizations, Enefaa Georgewill has alleged that he saw handlers of one of the free Palliative Buses by the Rivers State Government collecting money from passengers yesterday.
Enefaa who made this known in a statement on Facebook said handlers of the bus were collecting N50 to N100 from passengers.
“Finally See One SIM ‘Free’ Bus For Aba Road During The Rain, But Dem Dey Collect #50 To #100 Depending On Where You Enter,” he said.
Recall that the Free Buses were launched by the state government few weeks ago to help mitigate the effect of subsidy removal on residents.
