Nigerian singer Tiwa Savage has admitted to making mistakes in her past relationships by dating men who lacked financial stability.
Speaking openly, Savage said she previously dated men without concern for their financial status, emphasizing love over money. However, she revealed that at this stage in her life, she now prefers to be with someone financially secure.
“I used to make mistakes dating down, saying I don’t care if you’re not making money, it’s just love,” Savage said. “But now, I think I need someone who just has money. I think I’m at that point now.”
The singer further explained her change in perspective, stating, “Love is really nice, but you can judge me for wanting a wealthier person if you want. I want to try dating someone who’s wealthier. I have tried the other way for so many years. Let me try what it’s like dating someone financially stable.”
