The Director of FBI, Christopher Wray has commended the Dubai Police for their cooperation in extraditing Instagram Big Boy, Ramon Igbalode Abbas popularly known as Hushpuppi and his colleague Mr Woodberry to the US for prosecution.
The Dubai Police had earlier confirmed the extradition of the suspects in an Instagram post shared on its official page yesterday.
The Director of the Federatal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Christopher Wray praised the exceptional efforts exerted by the United Arab Emirate represented by the Dubai Police General HQ, in combating transnational organised cybercrime.
Hushpuppi and Woodberry were arrested few weeks ago by the Interpol in UAE for allegedly committing multiple money-laundering and cybercrimes in the US. According to reports, they have defrauded over a million persons of the sum believed to be in the region of N168 billion.
