Chairman of Ahoada-West Local Government Area, Hope Ikiriko has said that persons who carried out a protest at the state Government House yesterday, over non-payment of salaries are not staff of his council.
Hope Ikiriko, who made this known in a statement yesterday said no staff of the council is being owed salaries.
Some persons who claimed to be staff of the council had yesterday, staged a protest at Government House, pleading that the state governor asks Hope Ikiriko to pay their salaries.
