A Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress in Rivers State, Sen. Andrew Uchendu has reacted to the appointment of his son, Ossaowa Andrew Uchendu as a member of the State Board of Internal Revenue, by Governor Nyesom Wike.
Secretary to the State Government, Tammy Danagogo had yesterday, announced the appointment of Ossa as a member of the Board.
Chief Andrew Uchendu, a critic of the Wike administration, in a statement today, said Ossa is old enough to make decisions for himself, as he cannot take any decision on his behalf.
Andrew Uchendu said he does not think the Governor has done his son any favour.
He said the underlying purpose is to spite him and make people doubt me.
“Ossa is 43 years old and I cannot take any decision on his behalf. By the trainings and exposure he has, I don’t think Wike has done him any favor,” he said.
“The underlying purpose is to spite me and make you all doubt me. He has failed woefully. I beg all of you, leave me out of this…” he added.
