Harry Maguire, Team Captain of Manchester United FC has been found guilty of attempted bribery, repeated bodily harm, and violence against public employees. This is following his arrest during a brawl in Mykonos, Greece.
Maguire has been handed a suspended sentence of 21 months and 10 days in prison following his Tuesday trial.
After the sentence the Man. Utd skipper said, “I remain strong and confident regarding our innocence in this matter – if anything myself, family and friends are the victims.”
He also stated that he has instructed his lawyers to appeal the ruling with immediate effect.
