The Rivers State Commissioner of police and the Director of DSS in the state have been advised to wade in into what might degenerate into a community clash between the Diobu people and their Okrika Neighbours.
The Obumuton-Chiri Wakirike Assembly at a press briefing today accused the Rivers State Commissioner for Chieftaincy and Community affairs Charlse Amadi who incidentally is from Diobu of allegedly instigating crisis by disrespecting the traditional stool of the Obumuton-Chiri people .
Convener of the group, chief elect Israel Aseminaso who spoke on behalf of the group said it was wrong for the chieftaincy Commissioner Charles Amadi to have said that due process was not followed in the coronation of their king Darrick Achesomie even when he was aware that due process was followed.
The group calls on security agencies to hold the Commissioner for information Charlse Amadi responsible for any breakdown of law and order in the state.
