Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State has warned that the state government may be forced to review the restriction on the number of people allowed to worship in churches. This is if the flagrant disobedience of the COVID-19, protocols continues.
Governor Wike made this known at the Saint Thomas Anglican Church in Mile 2 Diobu, in Port Harcourt Local Government Area, yesterday, Sunday.
Wike who said that he observed that more than 80 percent of worshippers did not wear their nose mask said the government may be compelled to restrict the number of persons per service if it continues.
“85 per cent of those who are here are not wearing facemask. That is the problem we have. Nobody wants to obey simple instruction,” he said.
