Rivers state governor, Sim Fubara has fulfilled his promise of automatic employment to Wene Port Harcourt who completed a 606km walk from Lagos to Port Harcourt.
Wene made this known in a statement Today.
“Thank you Sir Siminalaya Fubara for Fulfilling your Promise of Automatic Employment.
“Recall, on 21st October, 2023 I completed a marathon to set Guinness World Records on longest distance covered on foot. Our Governor, Sir Siminalaya Fubara led Rivers people to receive me at the State Government House in Port Harcourt.
“Among other juicy offers, the Governor also promised me automatic employment to work with the Rivers State Ministry of Finance.
“I am glad to share that the pledge has come to reality.
“Thank you Rivers State Government, Thank you Rivers people and a big shout out to all my supporters all over the world, i love you.
