The Sector Commander Corps Commander Salisu Umar Galadunci is promising the people of Rivers State a hitch-free drive during Easter celebrations so that we live to benefit what the season is meant for. He said this, the FRSC Command intends to do by deploying over 500 regular Marshals and 400 Special Marshals to patrol the highways of the entire State free flow of traffic and respond to any emergency where it may occur. The Sector Commander added to aid the personnel achieve that, about 30 patrol vehicles and two Ambulances at strategic places will be used for the exercise.
Commander Galadunci stated that the Special Operation will adopt the engagement of the motoring public through intensive public enlightenment and traffic surveillance activities among other things, with a view to regulate and check the excesses of bad driving habits of motorists.
He advised the good people of Rivers State to avoid over speeding, drunk driving, making calls while driving, because the period is meant for us to exhibit good conducts as exmplified by Jesus Christ because of whose sacrifice we are all living for today.
