MEDITATION SCRIPTURE: “Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the Savour of his Knowledge by us in every place “ 2cor.2:14).

14 The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.
Victory in spiritual warfare and all other challenges of life begins with the acknowledgment of those who are with you. Once upon a time, Elisha’s house was besieged by host of the Syrians wanting to capture him. Elisha was calm and undisturbed while his servant was full of fear. To help his servant, the prophet simply prayed that God should open the eyes of his servant to see those who are with them – (2kgs.6:16-17).
Until your eyes are open to see the chariots of fire surrounding you, fear will continue to torment you. when Israel came to their wits end, standing before the red sea and Pharaoh pursuing them from behind, Moses drew their attention to this truth, “the Lord will fight for you and you need not to lift a finger”, (Exodus 14:14).
The truth we are stressing here today is that you are not alone in that battle. It doesn’t matter how powerful your enemies are. With God on your side, you are bound to sing the conqueror’s song. This was the sharp contrast between David and Saul. While Saul depends on the physical Amours which were inferior compared to what the giant had, David depended on the power and presence of Jehovah, the God of Israel.
He boldly challenged the giant in the name of God the armies of Israel. The presence of God following you to any battle is the assurance of His strength, the enemy notwithstanding.

PRAYER POINT: Lord, thank You because You are always with me like a mighty terrible one, therefore my heart shall not fear.
