Former Rivers Lawmaker and immediate past Woman Leader of the All Progressives Congress in Rivers State, Hon. Irene Inimgba has defected to the Social Democratic Party.
Hon. Inimgba was received by the Governorship candidate of the SDP, Sen. Magnus Abe in Port Harcourt, Today.
Abe, who commended the former lawmàker for identifying with the party, noted that she made the right decision.
Hon. Inimgba on her part, said nobody can see Abe in the race and look elsewhere. According to her, it was time for the Ogonis to speak out loudly.
“Nobody can see Magnus Abe in the race and look any further, it’s time for Ogoni people to speak out very loudly. In Magnus Abe they have a product with which they can bless Rivers State”, she said.
The SDP has been described as the fastest growing party in the state, due to the number of high profile individuals that have joined lately.
