As part of activities marking her 35th anniversary celebration, the International Federation of Women Lawyers, FIDA, in Rivers State will on the 21st of September 2022 hold a Free Legal Clinic at Abali Park, Mile 1 flyover in Port Harcourt by 9:00am.
The event will commence shortly after a “Walk For Equity” by the organization by 7:00am on the said date.
Take off point for the walk is the Port Harcourt Branch House of the Nigeria Bar Association.
Chairperson of FIDA in the state, Adata Bio-Briggs in a statement urged residents to make themselves available for the activities lined up.
A book titled “Relevant Laws Beneficial To Women In Rivers State” will also be launched on the day.
