Properties worth millions were reportedly burnt this morning as fire gutted the NIIT Technologies building at Isiokpo street in D/line Port Harcourt.
According to sources the cause of the fire which lasted for hours before the intervention of officials of the State Fire Service Department is still unknown.
A source said the fire started after a heavy explosion from the building.
Meanwhile, the security man at the building was seriouslly beaten up for not allowing thugs who claimed they wanted to help, into the premises.
Also a woman whose church was burnt down has pleaded with the state government to help her rebuild the church.
