Rivers state recorded 1 new case of Covid-19 yesterday. This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the state to 12,847 with 12,638 discharged and 154 deaths.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control made this known on its official website on Saturday.
In total, Nigeria recorded 45 new cases. Anambra recorded the highest number with -18, FCT-15, Lagos-9, Bauchi-1, Kano-1 and Rivers-1.
This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 213,532 with 206,486 discharged and 2,973 deaths.
The NCDC has said obeying all covid-19, protocols is key to curbing the spread of the deadly virus.
