The Azikiwe/Ojoto Market in Diobu, Port Harcourt was last night gutted by fire.
The cause of the fire incident which destroyed properties worth millions according to sources is still unknown.
A resident of the area said the fire started late in the night as residents battled to put it out.
He said fire fighters arrived late after everything in the market had been destroyed.
