A Federal High Court in Abuja has ordered former Minister of Petroleum, Diezani Alison-Madueke alleged to have stolen billions of naira to appear before it and answer to allegations levelled against her by the EFCC.
The judge Ijeoma Ojukwu, gave the order in a ruling yesterday, Friday 24 July 2020.
The judge, ordered that the invitation be published on the website of the EFCC and a national newspaper as it would make it easier for Mrs Alison-Madueke to be aware of the court summons.
Madueke is being accused of financial misappropriation while she held sway as the minister of petroleum under then President, Goodluck Jonathan.
