The Federal Government has announced the suspension of the airline company that flew controversial singer Naira Marley and Kim Oprah to his concert in Abuja yesterday.
The singer held a concert yesterday at the Jabi Lake Mall, which has so far been shutdown indefinitely by authorities of the FCT. This was for violating the directives of the government on social distancing and ban placed on social gathering.
Minister for Aviation Hadi Sirika, made this known during the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19 daily briefing in Abuja on Monday Today. He noted that the flight which was approved by the ministry for a different reason, was used for another purpose.
Sidika, furthermore confirmed that the pilot provided false information and deceived the Nigerian Government. Meanwhile, Nigerians have called for the arrest of the singer just like they did to actress Funke Akindele few weeks ago.
