The Federal Government of Nigeria, says it has received £4,214,017 James Ibori loot from the UK government.
The funds were said to have been recovered from family members and associates of the former Delta State Governor.
Abubakar Malami, Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, disclosed this in a statement on Monday.
He said the amount has been credited into the designated Federal Government account with naira equivalent.
The former Delta State Governor, James Ibori was on Tuesday, April 17, 2012, sentenced to 13 years Imprisonment by Southwark Crown Court for financial crimes.
