The Federal Government has extended the deadline for NIN-SIM data verification to July 26, 2021.
Ikechukwu Adinde, Director of Public Affairs, Nigerian Communications Commission made this known n a statement on Monday.
Adinde, who advised those yet to comply with the directive to seize the community and do so, said the decision to extend the deadline was based on request by stakeholders.
“The decision to extend the deadline was made after a request by stakeholders on the need to consolidate the enrolment and NIN-SIM verification process following the rapid increase in the number of enrolment systems across the country,” he said.
“The Federal Government has approved the extension of the deadline for NIN-SIM data verification to the 26th of July, 2021, he added.
