The Federal Government, States, and Local Government Councils have shared a total of N1.424 trillion as revenue from the Federation Accounts for December 2024.
This was disclosed in a statement issued on Friday by Bawa Mokwa, the Director of Press and Public Relations, Office of the Accountant General of the Federation.
According to the communiqué, N386.124 billion of the total amount represented distributable statutory revenue. Out of this, the Federal Government received N167.690 billion, while the States and Local Government Councils got N85.055 billion and N65.574 billion, respectively.
Additionally, N67.806 billion, representing 13% of mineral revenue, was allocated to oil-producing states as derivation revenue.
