The Minister of State for Aviation, Hadi Sirika, has announced an extension of the closure of all international airports in the country for two weeks.
The minister who made this known via his tweeter handle also announced that earlier plans to open the airports on April 23 as earlier scheduled has been shelved.
He said the extension is subject to review as emergency flights might be approved from any of the airports in the country.
He urged stakeholders in the aviation industry to see this as a sacrifice made to preserve the nation from the coronavirus.
