A one-year free health insurance and antenatal care scheme for pregnant women has been unveiled by the FCT administration as part of events to mark President Bola Tinubu’s one year in office.
Dr Adedolapo Fawase – Mandate Secretary of the FCTA’s Health Services and Environment Secretariat, disclosed this in a statement on Monday.
According to her, the initiative, coming as Renewed Hope Free Medical Outreach was designed for the poorest of the poor in rural communities.
She noted that besides giving pregnant women one-year insurance, there will also be free eye, dental, and other health services, while also providing minor surgery for the people
