The family of Mr. Bright Mark a taxi driver, allegedly shot dead by a Mobile Police officer three years ago in Rivers State, are demanding a financial compensation from the Nigeria Police Force.
Mr. Mark was allegedly killed by the police officer at the ever busy Rumuokoro roundabout in Obio/Akpor LGA, in 2018.
Mr. Akachi Mark, brother of the deceased who made this known while appearing before the state judicial Panel of Inquiry few days ago, said the family wants a N100 million naira compensation.
He equally stated that the family wants the police officer alleged to have murdered their brother be prosecuted and brought to justice.
