The family of one Nnenna Onu Obini – a young female hotel staff who lost her life after she was allegedly locked up in a room by her madam for four days without food over failure to account for a certain amount of money is calling for justice.
One Daniel Onyeije made this known in a Facebook post Today.
According to him, the Omoku Police command had a meeting with the victim’s family and the hotel management today, and they admitted to the crime.
He also revealed that the family said all they want is justice and not monetary compensation.
His post reads,

The Omoku police command had a meeting with the victim’s family and the hotel management where they admitted that indeed all that was alleged is true that they’re SORRY…..the family is asking if SORRY will bring back their daughter!
They’re not interested in monetary compensation,all they want is justice for their daughter/sister,Nnenna Onu Obini(She’s also known as Nancy),a native of Uburu in Ohaozara LGA of Ebonyi State.
Nwayioma Hotel,Ebocha is still fully operational,one begins to ask if money is everything in this society of ours.
I don’t want to believe the Nigerian Police will joke with this matter.
