The Nigeria Center for Disease Control NCDC, says it is working towards a fairer and healthier world for everyone, everywhere.
The commission, made this known in a post on its official Twitter handle in commemoration of this year’s World Health Day on Wednesday.
The NCDC, which is Nigeria’s leading national public health institute, says it will continue to play its roles by ensuring health security and contributing to universal health coverage, as everyone has a right to quality health services.
Meanwhile, the NCDC says it is supporting Edo State at the National Sport Festival to ensure adherence to public health safety measures & mitigate the risk of the spread of #COVID19.
It advised residents to always maintain all COVID-19 protocols, not minding if they have taken the jab or not.
