Rivers State recorded 10 new case of COVID-19 yesterday. This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the state to 6,959 with 6,841 discharged and 100 deaths.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), made this known on its Twitter handle, during its daily update of COVID-19
In total, Nigeria recorded 110 new Cases. Lagos recorded the highest number with – 24, Yobe-24, FCT-16, Bayelsa-10, Rivers-10, Kaduna-10, Nasarawa-5, Akwa Ibom-4, Bauchi-3, Edo-3 and Plateau-1.
This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 163,440 with 153,788 recovered patients, and 2,058 deaths.
The agency has advised Nigerians to continue obeying all COVID-19 protocols despite taking the jab.
