Etche Council Boss Presents Wheel Chair, Cash To Physically Challenged Boy

The Chairman of Etche Local Government Area, Obinna Anyanwu has presented a wheel chair and cash to one ThankGod Emeka, an indigene of the area, who is physically challenged.

Hon. Anyanwu had promised to offer him the items when he was accosted at the council Secretariat by ThankGod, who requested for some assistance.

Chief Press Secretary of the Council, Oluor Robinson disclosed this in a statement. 

His statement reads,

ANYANWU REDEEMS PLEDGE TO PHYSICALLY CHALLENGED


– Inspects Ongoing Council Remodeling

The Executive Chairman of Etche Local Government Area, Hon (Dr.) Obinna Anyanwu JP, on Monday redeemed his two weeks old pledge to Mr. ThankGod Emeka, an indigene of Etche who is physically challenged.

Anyanwu handed over to Mr. Emeka a new wheelchair and also cash for his proposed skills acquisition on shoe making.

Anyanwu was on the 15th of this month, accosted at the council secretariat by Mr Thankgod Emeka, who pleaded with the chairman to assist him in acquiring a skill and also provide him a good mobility aide.

Earlier, Hon (Dr.) Anyanwu inspected the level of work done so far at the ongoing remodeling of the council secretariat in Okehi being carried out by his administration.
