TEXT: EZEKIEL 33:21-33
MEMORY VERSE: “Now the hand of the LORD was upon me in the evening…” (Ezekiel33:22 KJV}
The hand of the LORD represents the diverse abilities, capabilities, capacities, potentialities, manifestations, and powers of God. The hand of the Lord upon a man and a generation positions them for unprecedented and supernatural results and exploits in life.
The hand of the Lord located the children of Israel and delivered them from Egypt (Exodus 6:1).
The hand of the Lord is the hand of deliverance from all bondages and captivities; the hand of the Lord delivers us from all infirmities and sicknesses (Psalm 105:37). The hand of the Lord delivers His people from death: “… the right hand of the Lord doeth valiantly”(Psalm 118:15).
The diversity of the hand of the Lord brought Judgment to Pharaoh and the Egyptians: “Behold, the hand of the Lord is upon thy cattle which is in the field…”(Exodus 9:3). The judgmental hand of God brings judgment on demonic deities and altars that attack and frustrate the destinies of people. The judgment of the hand of the Lord hits the enemies of God’s people. The judgment also locates the rebellious generations.
When God was set to bring the rains again by the prophecy of Elijah, His hand carried him in a flight mood (1 Kings 18:46).The hand of the Lord is the hand of supernatural speed. It is the hand that breaks limits and handles the curse of delay.
The hand of the Lord gives divine favour (Ezra 7:6). It brings about favour with God and man. The favour opens the door for supernatural supply and abundance. The favour makes you become acceptable to all, and surely that will be your experience, in Jesus Name.
The hand of the Lord is the answer to the hurdles of life; trust God for His hands today upon your life.
- Prayers, Word study, Worship lifestyle and Holiness are major secrets to provoking the hand of the Lord.
- Father, grant us the grace for righteous living that your hands will permanently be laid on us for good, in the Name of Jesus Christ.
