TEXT: GENESIS 1:20-23
MEMORY VERSE: “And God blessed them, saying, Be faithful, multiply and fill the waters in the seas, and let the fowl multiply in the earth” (Genesis 1:22 AMP).
God blessed everything He created; and He did it for our sake. Everything was created for our convenience. All that we need to do is to harness them for our benefits. But humanity has turned the blessed things into sources of sorrow, pain, discomfort, and different kinds of evil, and to our detriment; and dishonour God in the process.
But we can remake our world and turn it back to blessedness. If all humanity would agree to come together and turn to God and repent, everything would become right again; He will heal our world. God said, “If My people, who are called by My name, shall humble themselves, pray, seek, crave, and require of necessity My face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven, forgive their sin, and heal their land” (2 Chron. 7:14).
But if the world would not come together and seek God’s face, we can remake our own private world by turning to God in true repentance, contriteness, brokenness, and begin to serve and worship Him honestly and faithfully. We can rebuild our relationship with Him. Our wellbeing would come from reuniting ourselves with Him in every possible way. We should prioritize it among other desires of our heart. Our Lord Jesus said to us, “”I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing … If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you” (John 15:5, 7 NKJV).
That’s how we can remake our world – only in Christ Jesus our Lord; and no other. As He did at creation, God will bless every good thing we lay our hands to do. He will be our strength and support in every way, and in all things. Let’s remake our world.
- Remake your world and reap the benefits therein.
- Lord, help me to be in you and live in you always.
