TEXT: LUKE 8:16-25
MEMORY VERSE: “And he said unto them, where is your faith? And they being afraid wondered, saying one to another, what manner of man is this! For he commandeth even the winds and water, and they obey him.” Luke 8:25 KJV
0 And the apostles, when they had returned, told Him all that they had done. Then He took them and went aside privately into a deserted place belonging to the city called Bethsaida. 11 But when the multitudes knew it, they followed Him; and He received them and spoke to them about the kingdom of God, and healed those who had need of healing. 12 When the day began to wear away, the twelve came and said to Him, “Send the multitude away, that they may go into the surrounding towns and country, and lodge and get provisions; for we are in a deserted lace ”
The song writer composed this popular evangelical song ‘What manner of man is Jesus, Halleluyah (2x)’. Then, he went ahead to justify his questions with the following write ups about the man, Jesus.
‘He made the blind to see’; ‘He made the lame to walk’; ‘He made the dumb to speak’; ‘He made the deaf to hear’; ‘He healed divers diseases’; ‘He caused the dead to rise’; ‘He walked upon the sea’; ‘The winds and trees obeyed Him’; ‘He turned water to wine’; ‘He brought money from the mouth of a fish’; ‘He rose again from death’; Halleluyah!
Wow! If Jesus did these and many more that space and time fails us to mention, then I wonder what you are going through right now that this same Jesus will not be able to handle for you. I am just thinking, what that issue is that you feel is too big for this Jesus. Do you still want to know what manner of man He is? Ask Mary Joy Nwachukwu of Diobu Province in Rivers State who carried a child in her womb for five (5) years and delivered a bouncing baby girl on 5th September, 2021. You can also confirm from Prophetess Ujunwa John of Okpoko Province in Anambra State who delivered a bouncing baby boy after twenty (20) years of marriage without a child. Indeed, what manner of man is Jesus! These testimonies are mind blowing.
We encourage you to hold on to your faith: surely your miracle is on the way. Don’t give up. This same Jesus will unfailingly meet you at the point of your need, as He did for others, and even more.
- Jesus never fails and He does not change. Let your faith be firm.
- Father, thank you for the mighty things you are doing. I ask that you equally visit my own life, in the name of Jesus. Amen.
