ESOCS Devotional 23 July
TEXT: MARK 1:19-34
MEMORY VERSE: “And Jesus healed many who had various diseases.” Mark 1:34a NIV
In our text above Jesus cast away the evil spirit which possessed a man with a simple command “be quiet” and come out of him,” People were marveled at such power of Jesus”. He also healed Simon’s mother in-law who had fever. Jesus, the same yesterday, today and forever, has not changed. By His stripes, we were healed.

He is still healing sick people today. Only believe in Him. In our Church we bring water and olive oil for consecration and prayer for healing and God answers such prayers James 5:13-16, no matter the ailment. Unfortunately, people come to prayers now without water and olive oil to be consecrated for divine healing.
Brethren let us go back to the basis so that we can still enjoy the divine healing by God.
CHALLENGES
- Do you still come to church with fruits, water and olive oil?
PRAYER POINT: Pray for those who are sick for divine healing.
