TEXT: LUKE 12:1-21
MEMORY VERSE: “Also I say to you, whoever confesses Me before men, him the Son of Man also will confess before the angels of God” (Luke 12:8 NKJV).
This is a straight course. If we confess the Lord Jesus as our Lord and personal Saviour, He will do so concerning us before the angels in heaven. On the other hand, if we deny Him. He will also deny us. What we sow is what we would reap. 2 Timothy 2:12 says, “… If we deny and disown and reject Him, He will also deny and disown and reject us” (AMP). There are no two ways about it.
We should talk about Him to people. They need to come to knowledge about Him. It should be our consistent occupation. We should do it with passion wherever we go. People need salvation. We should market and sell it without restraint. It is the best commodity to advertise and sell. No other product is like it. We can make it our hobby too; and at the same time, make it our serious business. Whichever way, God will definitely appreciate us for advertising His Son; and He would reward us bountifully also.
Time is running out on humanity. The Soon Coming King will soon be here. As believers, if we do not get done the work of proclaiming Christ, many souls would be lost. The evil one would be happy and smiling; he would even mock our God, and us. We need to get down to business. Let’s just talk about Jesus.
Again, if we do not do the work, we would disappoint our heavenly Father. It would also mean that we do not take the Great Commission seriously: “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age. Amen” (Matt. 28:19-20 NKJV).
- How many souls have you converted to the Lord?
- Lord, give grace to preach your word everywhere.
