TEXT: LUKE 7:1-10
MEMORY VERSE: “When Jesus heard these things, he marveled at him, and turned him about, and said unto the people that followed him, I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.” Luke 7:9 KJV
0 And the apostles, when they had returned, told Him all that they had done. Then He took them and went aside privately into a deserted place belonging to the city called Bethsaida. 11 But when the multitudes knew it, they followed Him; and He received them and spoke to them about the kingdom of God, and healed those who had need of healing. 12 When the day began to wear away, the twelve came and said to Him, “Send the multitude away, that they may go into the surrounding towns and country, and lodge and get provisions; for we are in a deserted lace ”
Seen as the substance of the things hoped for and evidence of things not seen, faith is the major currency with which you can draw wealth from heaven. Anywhere God sees faith, He is provoked to action and where the faith is great, then protocols are broken for instant manifestation.
The centurion exercised a great faith by reminding Jesus of the power in the spoken word. It confirms that words travels in the speed of the light and in the realm of the Spirit, there is no distance. The great faith from him generated the healing for his servant.
Beloved, if we must get the best of God and command His miracles, we must not only possess faith but make the faith great. A great faith is the one that is not normal or usual. It is a faith that strikes the cord at the highest point. It is the faith that does not follow protocol, like the woman with the issue of blood. It is a faith that is undying and never giving up like the Syrophenician woman who never took no for an answer (Mark 7:25-30). It is the faith that takes risk like Zacchaeus, as well as Shadrach, Meshach, Abednego, and Daniel.
No matter the circumstances, develop a great faith today and your miracle will surely locate
- Don’t waver; remain strong in faith, and always exercise great faith.
- Father, we thank you for the workings of miracles; help my faith to be great and let it produce great result, in Jesus Name. Amen.
