The former governor of Rivers State, Barr, Nyesom Wike on Saturday described a group of traditional musicians – who were interrupting his speech as “poor” in Emohua local government area of the state.
This was during the one year anniversary celebration of HRM Sir Ohna Sergeant Chidi Awuse on the throne as the Paramount Ruler of Emohua Kingdom and celebration of 71st Birthday anniversary; appointment as chairman of Rivers State Council of Traditional Rulers and appointment as chancellor of LAUTECH.
The event took place at at the central state school 1 field (Ahiaezi ) Emohua town in Emohua LGA, Rivers State.
The immediate past governor, during his speech called on Awuse to ask his “poor musicians” to stop singing as they were interrupting him.
The musicians, immediately stopped singing after the remark for Wike to continue.
