The Department of State Security, DSS, has confirmed that suspended CBN governor, Godwin Emefiele is in it’s custody.
Public Relations Officer (PRO), of the DSS, Peter Afunanya made this known in a statement on Saturday.
“The Department of State Services (DSS) hereby confirms that Mr Godwin Emefiele, the suspended Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) is now in its custody for some investigative reasons,” he said.
“The public, particularly the Media, is enjoined to apply utmost caution in the reportage and narratives concerning this,” he added.
