Eleme, Rivers State – The Chairman of Eleme Local Government Area, Chief Hon. (Dr.) Ajuriebie Brain Emere Gokpa, has announced the formation of a JAMB Intervention Committee to support educational access for underprivileged children across the region’s ten wards.
The committee is tasked with identifying and selecting deserving candidates for assistance with Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) registration and other educational support initiatives.
Members of the committee include:
- Ngajo Ngelale, Supervisor for Education (Chairman)
- Dickson Dibiah, SSA on Education (Vice Chairman)
- James Edward, SS Student Affairs (Secretary)
- Ofime Good John Nwigbalor (Member)
- Jima Ndo (Member)
- The committee will collaborate with ward councillors to ensure an inclusive and transparent selection process. The inaugural meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, February 4, 2025, at the council secretariat.
