In keeping with its tradition of helping the less privileged in the society, Succour Foundation Today donated the sum of N600,000 to Elanhub Media to support and assist indigent students of the Rivers State University pay their fees.
Elanhub Media had a few weeks ago with the help of well-meaning family and friends raised over N600,000 to support students affected by the “No School Fees, No Exam” policy.
The cheque was presented to the Elanhub Team this morning by the CEO of Succour Foundation, Mrs. Ajoke Enebeli at her office in Odili Road, Port Harcourt.
Mrs. Enebeli, known for her philanthropic gestures, commended the Elanhub Team for her efforts in ensuring that students affected by the policy did not drop out of school, and promised to always support those in need, adding that such efforts gladdens her heart.
On her part, the Team Lead of Elanhub, Dr. Sarah Joe, commended Mrs. Enebeli for providing succour to the less privileged in society, and thriving to make our world a better place. She also assured her that the money would get to the beneficiaries as usual.
Succour foundation For Indigents is a non-governmental and charitable organisation that supports and provides basic medical aid, access to portable water, nutrition, and healthy living to those who are less able. Succour also supports women in rural communities by providing vocational training that would make them less dependent.
Succour Foundation is open to partnering and collaborating with individuals and organisations who are interested in helping the less privileged.
